Menswear Themes for Fall 2013 Trends| Creativity Counts
Its been awhile since we've posted an outfit collage inspiration, but due to fall arriving we felt it was necessary to give you a preview of some of the trend pieces you girls should be collecting for next season. We will be posting soon the Fall 2013 Trends you should be wearing so stay tuned.
In the meantime, we will give you three major trends that were seen throughout the whole fall 2013 collections and if you notice are present above: animal prints (any), color-block, and menswear inspired outfits. It is crucial for next season to invest in a great pair of trousers (dress pants) and suit jackets that will keep you on the season's major must have trend. Go for a pair of ultra cool heels like Fendi's cuffed suede ones or Giuseppe Zanotti's gold embellished shark tooth suede slippers for a more tomboy look. You decide which way to go as for either one will keep the inspiration alive.
Shop all the looks at net-a-porter.com:
1. Karl Lagerfeld purple/black leopard-print chiffon shirt (here)
2. Band of Outsiders black tuxedo pants (here)
3. Helmut Lang jersey-twill blazer (here)
4. Herv van der Straeten gold cuff (here)
5. Saint Laurent black suede clutch (here)

Pre-Order My Mink Coat Baby
Prices for the above mink coats (left to right):
Michael Kors houndstooth mink wrap - $17,995US
Gucci Jaguar Mink Cape - $21,000US
Brunello Cucinelli Mink Intarsia Jacket - $21,525US
What extremes can fashion take to make luxury much more sumptuous in a ready-to-wear collection? There are many designers who insert rich details in their leather numbers to drive prices up, or simply add crocodile patches to elevate the standards of true luxury. Perhaps ridiculous, but we can't deny sometimes we wished to own a nice leather piece; I myself would have to confess to be a fond owner of some leather numbers. Authentic leather has become an accepted fabric over the past years, but what may still be digesting unpleasantly is the acceptance of real fur - or more specifically Mink.
Fall 2013 collections seemed to have attracted most designers to incorporate one or two mink coats in their presentations, but even more interesting was to watch the advanced techniques and cuts designers are able to captivate in any fabric today. We would want to presume though that Prada may have had something to do with the growing trend. If you recall, the designer's floral mink coats from her Spring 2013 collection became a very popular coat on editorials and street style blogs. Her mink coats could have had you wondering if they were around $3,000US (and acceptable price for most of us now), when in reality they were worth around $44,000US.
Designers here opted to dye their mink coats - minks actually have a dark-brown fur - and inject invigorating prints that could attract the luxury customer. The trend seemed to have been a battle of who could design the most innovative mink coat to be on editorials this season. You would loose the number of mink coats if you had to count them from every collection this fall. The only truth here is if you are a mink lover, are you willing to pay such a high price for these treasures? Do designers really need to shed many furs or minks to be that popular with their special coats?
Although, if you were to think as a fashion editor looking for a great mink coat to put on your next must have editorial, something tells us you would have to choose Michael Kors' $17,995US houndstooth mink wrap. Throw Versace's yellow mink coat in their for the wilder and younger customer as well. Oh, and if you are ever curious to know the difference between fur and mink, we'll give you the short answer now. Mink fur is more durable because its hairs are much more shorter, thicker, and soft, which makes it an un-messy furry coat.
Most mink coats are available to pre-order now online, which gives you some time to order one for you or your loved one before fall arrives. Money must be included in the order though. Sorry.

More Fall 2013 Campaigns We're Talking About
Oscar de la Renta recently launched its new Fall/Winter 2013-2014 Campaign via a unique and socially manner. While others have been promoting their new campaigns through Facebook, Tumblr, and other online sites, Erika Bearman (OscarPRGirl), as everyone calls her, decided to first promote de la Renta's campaign through her Instagram account. A strategic and magnificent idea we could state.
Instagram has become one of the most popular Social Media Apps just about every brand uses to promote their products now a days. So why not premiere your campaign through here as well? In today's social media world we want everything quick and easy without hesitating to open up a new browser window to see new updates from our favorite brands. It works strategically if you think about it to open your App on your Smartphone and view all of de la Renta's campaign instantly at the speed of light all in one page; the campaign received an instant like and comments in a matter of seconds. The campaign was the news of the morning it wouldn't be surprising to see another brand promoting their full advertisements on Instagram as well. We'll be watching to see who does it next, while we give a great stand of applause to OscarPRGirl who has done an outstanding job as director of communications connecting the brand through Social Media over the past few seasons.
Meanwhile, speaking of the campaign, it seemed to be portraying a much more darker atmosphere than what we're used to seeing in his bright ladylike campaigns. But the campaign actually sends somewhat of a strong message with those clothes and dark hairstyles that portray a rebel in de la Renta's version. His surprising draped suits and awkward cloche hats imbue an elegance in the campaign worth trying on when they hit stores, while his hypnotizing modern Cinderella gowns couldn't be left out in the campaign, because we all know these were the star of the collection. You can know pre-order some of these looks at oscardelarenta.com; one metallic purple embroidered gown will retail at $13,990US. See more of the campaign through their Facebook account.
What do you think about the campaign?
Gucci was also feeling the dark atmosphere, but in a much more sexier version. Photographers Mert and Marcus were in charge of giving these campaign a provocative sex appeal that only needed a black leather sofa to let models, Abbey Lee Kershaw and Adrien Sahores deliver the scenes. There were some that stated famous supermodel Kershaw didn't appear convincing with short black hair, but we thought she was delivering the shot perfectly. There was that mien sexy assassin with those luxurious python and leather numbers that portrayed what the Gucci Fall 2013 collection's were all about. Whether you liked it or not, all we know is that it sure was another talked about campaign you had to see to judge for your own. Do you think it's as sexy as Gucci woman implies? We want some of those python numbers - boots, coats, dress - in our next season wardrobe. See more of the campaign here.

Kenzo Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign |
Most Fall/Winter 2013 Ad Campaigns have been released by now, and by most we mean we're still waiting for Gucci to close the deal. Yes, it's still July, but if you think about it, fall season is just around the corner. You'd have to agree that a great amount of campaigns have really put some effort into making one of the best advertisements this season. Some may be quirky cool, provocative, thoughtful, or controversial like Saint Laurent has been.
Whether you love a certain campaign or not, the whole point of these campaigns are to captivate people's attention for a minimum amount of seconds. It only takes about two seconds to have someone take some time to turn around and pause to see an ad. This is why it comes to my conclusion that the following ads below and above are one of the best of the season. Being familiar with the brand's collection doesn't have to be tough homework, because a striking ad is all it takes to have you searching for that brand.

Kenzo Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign |
In a short summary, Kenzo deserves an applause for its numerous outstanding campaigns. Its Fall 2013 campaign will probably have a wider audience searching for what the brand sells, and overall purchasing the item. In fashion, their collection may not have been the best of the season, but it will surely cause another street style sensation with their most recent technique of advertisements. As a customer, I felt somehow compelled to purchase those shoes the cat was in; they felt luxurious and cool. And about their other awkward semi-dissection ad, we have to say it does grab your attention.
What do you think about the rest of the Fall/Winter 2013 Ad Campaigns?

Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign |
Miu Miu went for a provocative (lusty) ad that was set on a boat. Doesn't this sound like the perfect setting to provoke sensuality with models Adriana Lima and Emily DiDonato above?

Michael Kors Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign |
Michael Kors seems to have focus on delivering a much more sophisticated campaign over the past few seasons. We know Michael Kors is a traveler, but we want to see where his collection will take us each season. Karmen Pedaru and Simon Nessman have turned to be the perfect couple to take us on their adventures. This season, it seems Kors' was portraying a tough military influence with class. Pedaru's black and white coat number sold us. If you thought the coat may have looked kitsch, think again.

Fendi Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign |
Fendi took us to a very high building surface in their Fall 2013 campaign. It may be too overt (editorial vibe), but Saskia de Brauw is sure looking high-end in that fur coat. The campaign could even quality to have it framed in your salon.

Kate Moss in Versace's Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign |
Versace without a doubt hit a high note with their Fall 2013 campaign. Who wouldn't want to pause to see Kate Moss naked covered with only Versace's yellow fur coat? Or see her making us want to purchase those colorful handbags? Let's just say this may go on our wall of iconic supermodels who can sell anything easily.

Gisele Bundchen in Louis Vuitton's Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign |
Louis Vuitton had no other than Gisele Bundchen and an extraordinary selection of more supermodels pose for its new Fall 2013 campaign. Just as the collection implied, it wouldn't be surprising that the setting took place at a hotel. It was a romantic intimacy with supermodels that felt alluring.
![]() |
Jil Sander Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign |
Jil Sander likes to keep things minimal, and that was how her Fall 2013 campaign felt. There was only something about the wind blowing the model's hair and high-collared leather coat that was mind thoughtful and relaxing if you think about it.

Tom Ford Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign |
Tom Ford is the symbol of sexuality. This would be why his campaigns always portray a strong sex appeal in them, which is what his fall 2013 campaign had in them. As stated in one post, Mr. Ford knows who he is marketing to here: a woman who wants high luxury made sexy. (See more pictures here).
![]() |
Donna Karan Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign |
Donna Karan fall 2013 campaign was about capturing an intimate relation between an artist and his muse. The campaign doesn't need much explaining after this, because there is clearly something steamy going on between these two models. (See more pictures here).
Also, take a look at Givenchy's Fall 2013 Campaign with actress, Amanda Seyfried here.
Tom Ford's Fall 2013 Sexy Print Campaign
Tom Ford is one of those few designers who whether you like him or not, you can't deny he knows how to work the luxury market sexually well. Most of us may not be as overly familiar with his collections, because he manages to keep them very private for the most part......until now.
Not so long ago he decided to bring back his eponymous line to the runway last February, during London Fashion Week. And what a way to reunite again with the catwalk. It was one of the most anticipated collections of London, and well worth it. His fall 2013 collection bombarded us with all these wild prints - Ka-Pow! In your face.
There were definitely much to choose from here - cheetah print jackets with fur lining, leather kinky boots, sexy embroidered tops and bottoms, color-block cut skirts in suede, lusty zebra print heels, and more Ka-Pow! trimmed jackets. Evening or daywear, Mr. Ford knows very well who his client is: a woman who wants high luxury made sexy. What do you think?
Gisele Bundchen's Supermodel Powers
![]() |
Gisele Bundchen, like the supermodel queen in Vogue Italia's June 2013 cover. |
It seems beauty, Gisele Bundchen may have some sort of magical powers we hope it'll never go away. Her super powers? Hypnotizing us with her striking looks and poses. I had not become familiar with this mega supermodel until I completely indulged into the world of fashion around the age of 11. After getting more familiar with several fashion designers, I became to understand that models were everything to this industry. Being chosen to be on the cover of such an important magazine like Vogue has always been a dream to any model. But it's not who you choose to be on a cover of a magazine, it's who you choose to have that single person hypnotize anyone who walks by the magazine stands, take a few seconds to stare at it, and purchase it just for the simple fact of being stroked by a beauty or work of art. This is what Vogue Italia's latest June cover has done in my opinion, chosen the perfect model to do the work.
Gisele Bundchen became the first model I became quite aware of who she was before I even knew who Kate Moss was as well. Yes, I know, quite a shame I wasn't familiar with another pure beauty, but it didn't take long to familiarize with her either later.
Mrs. Bundchen (Brady) has become a perfection at everything she does. Her catwalk simply speaks about her confident authority towards fashion. Have you seen the repeats of her Balenciaga Spring 2011 catwalk video, Colcci, or any other hypnotic walks she performs? I don't know about you, but I have to rewind to catch again her graceful walk. And let's talk about her editorial and ad campaigns. Well let's not, because I will never finish talking about her works on many fashion magazines to her appearances for ads such as Dior, Versace, YSL (Saint Laurent), Chanel, BLK DNM, etc. The list goes on and on.
While her recent Chanel for Beauty Campaign was to portray her beautiful and feminine skin, and David Yurman to see how beautiful you can also look in his jewelry, BLK DNM went the total opposite. It was as if they thought shooting a picture with her back facing the camera would make a great advertisement. If BLK DNM wanted to make it a very sexy campaign with a model checking her car engine in jeans, they nailed it. Her Vogue Brazil cover created quite a buzz in women, knowing that she had shot the cover just after giving birth two months later. Envy or not, who cares, she looks great. All I know is that the season has just started to heat up, and Mrs. Bundchen seems to be making again, a powerful return to this season's fashion. One thing I hope is for her to make another huge surprise on any designer's ad campaign for fall 2013. Will it happen? I don't know for sure, but I at least would wish to see her appearing from time to time on some cover of a magazine editorial. Oh, and I have to get this specific Vogue Italia June edition ASAP. I live in the United States, but my nearest bookstore, Barnes & Nobles, apparently doesn't put their international magazine editions until next month (July). So, that means I'll have to be wait desperately to get it and frame it on my wall of iconic photos.
See Gisele Bundchen's most recent appearances for magazines and ad campaigns below.

Donna Karan's Fall 2013 Steamy Ad Campaign

Donna Karan Fall 2013 Steamy Ad Campaign with Catherine McNeil and Andres Velencoso |
What does a love chemistry look like between Australian supermodel Catherine McNeil and Spanish sumpermodel Andres Velencoso Segura?...........A sensual work of art.
Donna Karan's fall 2013 collection was all about capturing an intimate relation between an artist and the clothes. You can tell she damn right knew how to portray it in her upcoming fall campaign. The choice of the clothes - sensual, feminine, and mysterious - couldn't have been any better for the setting of the story, especially with that hairstyle that leaves you thinking if the artist (Andres) just got done with his work of art. In other closer shots, it seems just what an artist would do to his masterpiece - experiment it delicately with his hands. I wonder what woman wouldn't like to take a quick visit to her artist now? I believe a guy wouldn't mind becoming an artist for a good cause either.
As far as Fall ads are beginning to appear, as of now I find Donna Karan's Fall 2013 ad campaign as one the best and most steamy campaigns of the season. Last season, well technically this season, because it is a Spring 2013 campaign, Miu Miu was at the top of my chart - lustfully desired. It is campaigns like this one that makes us want to buy clothes - a little spice always heats things up much better. What are your thoughts on this seductive campaign?

Let The Skirt Do The Talking
![]() |
This Dolce & Gabbana crystal-embellished mini skirt can do all the talking you want it create. More than gossip, it speaks money. |
Many of us are often out there on the hunt for the best deals in fashion, whether it be online or in stores. Some people can get desperate and rather purchase it at full retail price with the fear of not being able to get what they wanted in the future. The question is how much are we willing to wait to be the first to catch that amazing item we know we could have waited for a little bit more?
I have always been a believer that what's meant to be yours will wait for your all season (or year) long no matter what. If those shoes you were dying to get were gone, chances are they weren't meant for you. Sorry, maybe you'll have luck with something else next time.
Getting a real luxury designer item is like the stock market - you've got to choose right and risk it to look good. When I describe real luxury I am not referring to a $4,000 Gucci dress, but to those average types of garments (not dresses) that can be worth about half of your college tuition - for example, the original retail price of the $13,760 Dolce & Gabbana mini skirt above. It can be shocking just how much the value of a skirt can rise. I often ask myself, I know details are what drives the value of something so high, but are their really people out there who would do anything to purchase such a beautiful skirt which we know you'd probably wear it only once? Maybe the answer is yes, the richest people who don't have a problem with this type of prices.
Most retail have mega sales each season to stock up their next season orders. I had already seen the price of this particular skirt before, but when I came across the online retailer The Outnet, who offer great savings, I came across the skirt again. And guess what, it was on sale for 75% off. Even though the percent was cut off quite high, its price - $3,440 - could seem like a mega deal, or not, to those who like to collect treasures as I always like to say.
One thing I would like to point out is that this specific skirt comes from Dolce & Gabbana's Spring 2012 collection. I was left with the curiosity to know how long had this item been online that it was drop severely in my opinion? Who would've thought you could steal get a deal after a year old collection?
There was also recently this buzz going around about Dolce & Gabbana selling one of it's Fall 2013 collection dresses at $49,000. It had been stated they would sell six of them to the online luxury retailer Net-a-Porter, who are very confident all of dresses will sell out, meaning that hopefully there won't be any sale as the iconic skirt. We'll have to wait and see if confidence beats the price.
Oh, and if your planning to get the skirt, don't overdress it, just let the skirt do the talking. You know it will.
Would you purchase the skirt at it's sale price knowing what the price of the skirt was originally?
If Only My Teacher Were This Fashionable

Teacher at the gym in Alexander Wang Spring 2013 |
From time to time, I always like to take a look at some of the new editorials that various international magazines tell about in their monthly issues. When you stare at each page of an editorial for more than ten minutes and imagine yourself in that story, then you know the magazine did an excellent job.
Elle Mexico's (yes!) April issue came up with a steamy story titled, Hey, teacher, leave those kids alone, that portrays a very luxurious teacher who apparently doesn't follow dress code rules. If you look at the pictures, the model (teacher) does an excellent job being the center of attraction. Each piece is a beauty that can only be a dream for most people.
If you're really into fashion, you have to agree you would drool over your favorite teacher if she ever dressed this way. I know I would stop by every day and talk to her just to see who is she wearing. Wouldn't you?

Now, if you know of any teacher who really dresses in this high-end designer dresses in real life, I'd like to see. It doesn't hurt to wear one designer piece a month, but each and every day of the week? I'd be very suspicious about that. How in the heck can she afford to look so good and luxurious with such check? I'd love to know the secret.

Teacher at the playground in Chanel Spring 2013 |
I have to say the most memorable one has to be the teacher in Prada. Prada did such a beautiful collection this season that was so breathtaking. There were some that said the clothes were ugly on the runway, but when they saw them styled differently, they fell in love with it. Only Miuccia Prada can play with our minds.
Which one of these photos is your favorite of all? Do you see any teacher of yours wearing this?
How to Turn Your Favorite Black Dress Sexy

Wearing black can sometimes appear boring. I always say add a little pop of color and texture and your set to be the star of the night. It is always necessary to have fun when dealing with a little black dress. After all, this is what actually makes your black number stand out in front of the others. Don't stress about the dress you should choose - all attention should be focused on gathering the perfect accessories.
Shoes could be another key factor you should think about. I don't know about you, but those red python Alexander Wang sandals are sure ultra sexy. There was something that caught my attention when I saw them online. A chic black dress came to my mind immediately. These shoes are the center of attraction with texture happening everywhere - python and lizard injected with the most rich color. These are the type of shoes you could pair with a jersey dress (above), leather pants, skirts, etc. There are so many options to be creative with them - retro, sexy, sophisticated. The only questions is if you would be willing to pay $625 for these beauties? Would you?
Where's Your Gold Capri's Girl?
As you know, Fashion week is almost here! As everyone is getting their invitations ready, having your best outfit shot by photographers is a must. Getting a picture taken has to be inspirational and eye catching. There are two things you should have in mind when packing up: prints and vibrant colors should become your best friend when it comes to fashion.
When choosing what to pair with prints, make it enjoyable! Remind yourself youre a young child when it comes to dressing up. Dont stress out too much over an outfit, because people will notice youre trying too hard to impress. The more you have fun with what you decide to combine, the more intriguing itll be. Strive for the Eye Candy of the Day, as Wendy Williams would state .SMEKDB2DNSZ7
You could take for example the gold printed pants from J.Crew. The nude shoes with neon straps became the color scheme of our outfit. Why? Simply, the pants had enough statement to speak about it was a matter of playing around with another scheme. Color doesnt have to be your only alternative. Opting for different fabrics and textures gives uplift to your style.
Remember: Set your mind as a young child whos experimenting with what shell wear, and work it!
