Fendi's Fall Furry Monsters
You know you can't never go wrong when Fendi plays around with their fur. They are the best in the luxury market, taking fur to a whole another dimension then what is perceived by. They have found so many innovative ways to turn fur into a fabric of its own, so razor sharp sometimes you won't believe what type of fur material you're wearing.
This fall, their accessories - mostly handbags - have gotten fur lovers craving for some playful fur monsters and bird baguette's. Their new designs won't come at such an affordable price menu with prices ranging from $4450 - $7200US for one of these little monsters. And if you're wondering what type of fur these bags are made from you would probably be somewhat surprised to know they are dyed mink fur from Finland. Nice, huh? If you were to take a closer look at them you would be able to appreciate their dying techniques do look very well made when it comes to fur, but of course were talking about Fendi. Everything needs to come out perfect if you want to be the best in the luxury fur market.
Also, you may have noticed in case you these prices seem a bit high for a furry monster, you could always grab Fendi's furry keychain monster to accessorize any other bag. Although, at $700 for this whimsical charm that could become the next big trend this upcoming season, it's much more creative to say maybe a new DIY project? While you're at it, have fun with some furry ankle boots as well, because fur has turned out to be bigger than ever this fall.
What do you think about these accessories?

Emilio Pucci Spring/Summer 2013 |
Sheer is one of the most worn fabrics around our city in the summer, but as clear and transparent as the runway, we yet to seek for one. Designers proved how naughty sheer can become if used correctly. Sheer was all about seduction, authority, and femininity for the spring collections. As you may have remembered from our past posts, spring/summer 2013 should be all about seduction. Emilio Pucci, an Italian house known for prints, presented various designs of sheer. Pants, dresses, and tops were all present in this collection. Prints, which were what we expected, were seen very rarely, as Peter Dundas decided to take an unusual route like other designers. The collection was not as bad as we thought it may have been. Franciso Costa at Calvin Klein gave us one of the most sexual collections the brand had presented. Each dress brought attention at the bust with kinky designs. The play of construction and lengths were the main elements. Stella McCartneys athletic dresses could not have been left behind as well. Her dresses marked attitude and style. Valentinos black sheer sleeve and lace embroidered dress below was a remarkable treasure we couldnt let go of. Akris presented a collection that should be in the minds of several street style ladies preparing for next months fashion shows. If anyone wanted to play with sheer, Akris took the crown in their ninety-one piece collection. We have a question. Would you be willing to wear an item from the Akris spring/summer 2013 collection?

Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2013 Ad - How Lustful Can Miu Miu Become?
![]() |
Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2013 Advertisement Campaign |
Miu Mius Spring/Summer 2013 ad campaign was no doubt pure eroticism. Every shot provoked lust and temptation. Adriana Lima and Doutzen Kroes were two supermodels booked for the story, but model Bette Franke was the protagonist in this voluptuous campaign. Miuccia knew how to choose the perfect fabrics and cuts to give life to this well deserved setting. The silk bed lining and chromatic colors of the clothes spoke for themselves, not forgetting the models poses which gave away the whole inspiration. The gloves, taffeta outfits, denim skirt, and slipper dresses were perfect. It was all a tactic game that even on Miu Mius runway was already thought of. In my opinion, I believe this is one of the best stories told so far for a spring/summer 2013 collection advertisement. Well have to wait to see if other important brands can beat this lustful campaign. What are your thoughts towards these ads?

Michael Kors Spring/Summer 2013 |
A slit sometimes is not enough when spring arrives. For some particular reason, women want to feel more liberal towards what they wear, but isnt that the whole reason what spring is all about? This is the same question we ask ourselves then. Why one slit, when you can add another for more presence?
Several designers opted to upgrade their past spring collection with more revealing silhouettes this season. Michael Kors navy skirt offered a more seductive secretary with those zippers. This suit could make the perfect outfit for office, zipping it inside office hours, and unzipping it outside office hours. Alexander Wang presented, as we recalled before, one the best urban dresses any street style girl should seek after. We drooled over the silver double-slit dress that marked confidence and authority anyone would be allured by. Roberto Cavalli was one of those shows that centered all its attention on the double slit dresses. Its extravagant prints, lace details, and slits combined very well. We could post the entire collection, but well have to narrow it down to two. Karmen Pedaru wore a beautiful light green silk print dress with delicate lace embroidered over it. Daria Strokous white embroidered skirt and top marked purity to the max (you know what we mean). Fendis chic leather skirt was all about color and structure ready to be caught by any street style photographer any time.

Chanel Spring/Summer 2013 Ad Campaign - Relaxed with Style

Chanel Spring/Summer 2013 Ad Campaign shot by Karl Lagerfeld |
Karl Lagerfeld, as usual, was the photographer in charge of setting the scenes of the Chanel spring/summer 2013 ad campaign. Chanel ads are probably one of the best advertisements in the fashion marketing side, delivering not only clothes, but a story told behind every shot. For spring, it seemed Karl wanted to portray an everyday woman who sometimes wants to feel beautiful without having to depend on the codes of society. The setting was fresh and youthful, letting all the attention focus on the models unusual poses than the actual background scenario. Models Ondria Hardin and Yumi Lambert were one of the freshest models who brought a different perspective to the brand. They were the girls in charge of exposing the slouchier yet relaxed Chanel lady we wouldn't think of, which sure did appear fine. Stella Tennant felt like the mother setting minimum restrictions on the poise of a lady, letting her body do all the talking.
One of the advertisements that caught our attention was the one with the accessories scattered over the room. It reminded us of a real life behavior some would be familiar with, which from time to time organization can become stressful. This may not have been the best campaign ever, but it definitely was a clever marketing game. Do you think Chanels new perspective describes who you are?
Chanel's Sassy Lego Purses

New Chanel Lego clutch presented at Chanel's Spring/Summer 2013 collection. |
Karl Lagerfeld always manages to be on top of his game when it comes to imagination. His imagination and creativity is what has earned him the respect that many of us have had towards him. Chanel is about the only brand in my opinion who can deliver a presentation of over 80 designs without disappointing us. Its Spring/Summer 2013 collection was no different. Its iconic tweed jackets were upgraded to what I like to call it Oversize Me! Pearls were the main attraction of the show, and as we knew it, and upgrade to the jacket also had to come with another treat.one of a kind bags. I honestly dont know where else you could find a Lego clutch or hula-hoop inspired handbag. Only Chanel is the place to seek for those one of a kind treats.

Jason Wu Fall/Winter 2012 |
I cannot think of any woman who has secretly thought about how luxurious fur would look on her. I state secretly, because I know some do ponder whether they want to or not. Fur has always been contemplated as the queen of fashion, for luxury is written all over her. This season fur has been seen on the runway of top brands in a very distinctive way. Instead of concentrating on a full fur coat, several designers decided to focus solely on the arms. I, in general appreciated how impeccable fur looks mixed with leather and other prints.

Versace's Fall Fetish Accessories
Versace always finds a way to turn something so dark and unwanted into a sex symbol that would appear awkward when referred to the term "Gothic." Donatella makes sure somehow we turn something most of use wouldn't desire to be thought of, into that Gothic girl we would be willing to play the character.

A detailed Dolce & Gabbana print dress depicting the history of theater. |
Dolce & Gabbana has proven to be not just a brand, but a heritage to the Italian culture. Its rich gold embroidered dresses from last season were a prominent collection that gave through another chapter in its Sicily theme for spring. The collection was as usual.fresh, young, and full of happiness.
Prints were introduced in a bright jolly structure paired with puppet theater earrings that marked the roots of Domenicos beloved Sicily. Raffia dresses were a major turning point in the show, demonstrating what a rich culture the south of Italy has to offer, for most of the raffia pieces were made with the help of Sicily. The vivid embroideries injected into the raffia dresses and skirts made the models appear so feminine, yet so delicate. Stripes were another element that were done very well, and will probably have most women desperate for the collection to arrive at near boutiques in spring (for those who dont have a personal contact with Dolce & Gabbana). One part of the collection we thought was quite interesting was the manner that prints and lace were paired together. We make a dress, I hope good, in a good way, but the people want a story, a philosophy, were some words that Domenico Dolce chose to describe his presentation, which by the way Mr. Domenico, you do know how to make a great dress.

As we know, the show couldn't end with the last couple of models wearing raffia corsets, which surprisingly pleased everyone. In our opinion, the corsets were more of a beautiful craftsmanship that could be enjoyed in an art exhibition than a daily wardrobe piece, but who knows whom we may be seeing wearing it. One thing we can assure is that the entire accessories in this collection were to die for (literally). An upgrade in your accessories next spring would probably be a good choice to begin with this brand, and if your at it, a wardrobe full of prints, stripes, and raffia could be another choice, if you happen to still have money left in your clutch.
