Selena Gomez and Her Atelier Versace Numbers

Selena Gomez at VMA 2013 Awards in Atelier Versace
Selena Gomez at VMA's 2013 Awards in Atelier Versace

We all know pop song artist, Selena Gomez, has recently turned 21 even though she still looks quite young for such a liberating number. When it comes to an awards ceremony, it shouldn't be no surprise she'll opt for full Atelier Versace numbers - the brands couture line - that are best known for designing very sexy pieces. This season, Atelier Versace's Fall 2013 collection came even more sexual and revealing than from previous seasons. To say the least, we weren't really expecting no one to show up in such designs from the collection. Okay, maybe for the VMA's 2013 vulgar red carpet event wouldn't have been shocking, but it was when Selena showed up in a navy revealing lace corset dress that was hold by Swarovski crystal-pins that appeared the dress could have ripped with any harsh move.

It seems that at 21, the artist may be beginning to feel more comfortable in what she wears with super high-slits, something her best friend, Taylor Swift, prefers to keep classic. We're not saying she's becoming excessive or vulgar, for the dress brought a perfect balance compared to other artists who walked the red carpet. It just seems the main buzz here that had several online sites talking about this dress was people not been accustomed to seeing Selena Gomez showing too much skin.....until now.

For fashion, we thought she looked beautiful in her Atelier Versace gown, but for others it may look different. And whether you hated it or not, by now she showed us she can't go wrong in anything she wears, and is really one of the few who can pull of this sexy look without vulgarity interfering. What do you think about Selena Gomez's revealing dress she wore at the VMA's 2013 red carpet?

Versace and Giorgio Armani Fall 2013 Couture| The Last

giorgio armani fall 2013 couture collection dress

Giorgio Armani knows how to dress a woman with class. His Fall 2013 Couture collection was without a doubt one of the most beautiful collections we had yet to have seen from Mr. Armani. He opted to stay away from bolder colors and instead go for nude colors that would blend perfectly with his old Hollywood theme. The collection described everything about the Armani woman: sensual, sophisticated, luxurious, and of power.

He began his show with a series of nude numbers that could take your breathe away. His suits were cut with such a subtle manner, it was difficult not to fall in love with them; the construction of those shoulders portrayed superb authority. But what probably made his suits a stronger presentation were pairing them with a number of impeccable matching and lightly embroidered wide-legged trousers. Mr. Armani indeed reconfirmed he can cut a perfect pair of his signature trousers, because whether he fails or not in any season, his classical trousers always saves him from a harsh critic. One thing for sure is that if you ever decide to go for his couture trousers here - luxury cotton, silk lame, and organza - or his more affordable ones, be assure that you will have invested in the perfect pair of dress pants any women seeks for; a sophisticating at a high level included.

He also introduced several handmade lace tops that imbued a sensuality with those hair styles the models wore. A full laced trench coat would be a magical fortune for any women who purchases it, as for his evening wear dresses were fit for a royal ceremony. The Emmy's are arriving sooner than you believe, and a dress from these collection (such as one pictured on the right above) wouldn't hurt anyone who seeks for a beautiful piece that could speak for itself.

atelier versace fall 2013 couture collection dress

Donatella Versace scored some major points in her Fall 2013 Couture collection. How much sexier do you want couture to be? Oh, and then have Naomi Campbell walking down the runway like the Queen she is selling anything with ease.

That was what Versace seemed to be pushing the limits here. Besides her tight hugging sexy leather dresses paired with mesh and crocodile jackets that are sure to sell like price were nothing, she came out with a number of dresses whose fabric were only held together with Swarovski pins that led to reveal laced tops. Her dresses were in fact delicate and provocative if were to think about it. One navy dress (pictured in the center) had one worry and curious to see a wardrobe malfunction occur at any time.

What was interesting to have seen here was for Versace to include back again few mink jackets that in general have not played well for brand. But it was maybe the fact that we were hypnotized by Naomi Campbell closing the show in one black crystallized mink jacket and very provocative sleepwear vest that we were intrigued to have one. Although returning to reality, you have to be honest that not anyone would wear as good as the Queen.

The Best of Fall 2013 Ad Campaigns

Kenzo Fall 2013 cat in shoe campaign
Kenzo Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign

Most Fall/Winter 2013 Ad Campaigns have been released by now, and by most we mean we're still waiting for Gucci to close the deal. Yes, it's still July, but if you think about it, fall season is just around the corner. You'd have to agree that a great amount of campaigns have really put some effort into making one of the best advertisements this season. Some may be quirky cool, provocative, thoughtful, or controversial like Saint Laurent has been.

Whether you love a certain campaign or not, the whole point of these campaigns are to captivate people's attention for a minimum amount of seconds. It only takes about two seconds to have someone take some time to turn around and pause to see an ad. This is why it comes to my conclusion that the following ads below and above are one of the best of the season. Being familiar with the brand's collection doesn't have to be tough homework, because a striking ad is all it takes to have you searching for that brand.

Kenzo Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign with sean o'pry
Kenzo Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign

In a short summary, Kenzo deserves an applause for its numerous outstanding campaigns. Its Fall 2013 campaign will probably have a wider audience searching for what the brand sells, and overall purchasing the item. In fashion, their collection may not have been the best of the season, but it will surely cause another street style sensation with their most recent technique of advertisements. As a customer, I felt somehow compelled to purchase those shoes the cat was in; they felt luxurious and cool. And about their other awkward semi-dissection ad, we have to say it does grab your attention.

What do you think about the rest of the Fall/Winter 2013 Ad Campaigns?

miu miu fall 2013 campaign with adriana lima
Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign

Miu Miu went for a provocative (lusty) ad that was set on a boat. Doesn't this sound like the perfect setting to provoke sensuality with models Adriana Lima and Emily DiDonato above?

Michael Kors Fall/Winter 2013 military Campaign
Michael Kors Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign

Michael Kors seems to have focus on delivering a much more sophisticated campaign over the past few seasons. We know Michael Kors is a traveler, but we want to see where his collection will take us each season. Karmen Pedaru and Simon Nessman have turned to be the perfect couple to take us on their adventures. This season, it seems Kors' was portraying a tough military influence with class. Pedaru's black and white coat number sold us. If you thought the coat may have looked kitsch, think again.

Fendi Fall/Winter 2013 fur coat Campaign
Fendi Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign

Fendi took us to a very high building surface in their Fall 2013 campaign. It may be too overt (editorial vibe), but Saskia de Brauw is sure looking high-end in that fur coat. The campaign could even quality to have it framed in your salon.

Kate Moss in Versace's Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign
Kate Moss in Versace's Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign

Versace without a doubt hit a high note with their Fall 2013 campaign. Who wouldn't want to pause to see Kate Moss naked covered with only Versace's yellow fur coat? Or see her making us want to purchase those colorful handbags? Let's just say this may go on our wall of iconic supermodels who can sell anything easily.

Gisele Bundchen in Louis Vuitton's Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign
Gisele Bundchen in Louis Vuitton's Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign

Louis Vuitton had no other than Gisele Bundchen and an extraordinary selection of more supermodels pose for its new Fall 2013 campaign. Just as the collection implied, it wouldn't be surprising that the setting took place at a hotel. It was a romantic intimacy with supermodels that felt alluring.

Jil Sander Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign
Jil Sander Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign

Jil Sander likes to keep things minimal, and that was how her Fall 2013 campaign felt. There was only something about the wind blowing the model's hair and high-collared leather coat that was mind thoughtful and relaxing if you think about it.

Tom Ford Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign
Tom Ford Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign

Tom Ford is the symbol of sexuality. This would be why his campaigns always portray a strong sex appeal in them, which is what his fall 2013 campaign had in them. As stated in one post, Mr. Ford knows who he is marketing to here: a woman who wants high luxury made sexy. (See more pictures here).

Donna Karan Fall/Winter 2013 Steamy Campaign
Donna Karan Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign

Donna Karan fall 2013 campaign was about capturing an intimate relation between an artist and his muse. The campaign doesn't need much explaining after this, because there is clearly something steamy going on between these two models. (See more pictures here).

Versace Men's Spring 2014 Athletic Movement

versace mens spring 2014 suits

"Athleticism, idealism, discipline, and freedom rule." Those were Versace's description for its spring 2014 menswear collection. It wasn't difficult to search for these terms here when given Versace's dictionary. Donatella Versace sent a parade of well built models to center around her theme: the life of a compassionate and devoted athlete in the world of sports. It's just that in Versace's world, everything is done with more exposure and somewhat sexier etiquettes.

Her suits - given a tough disciplinary tailoring - may have been surprisingly classic (simple) for the Versace customer. She gave a sporty silhouette to her suits and trousers - relaxed in a lower waist and finished with ribbed cuffs - that made it ideal for her athletes to go from the gym to an important event. There were a variety of options to choose from: single or double breasted, one or two buttons, silk, denim or leather suits, waist belt suits, and striking prints that came with the words "Versace" printed all over and another one in sports training figures. Dress shirts came in standard versions of white with a gold medusa button at top, to a very revealing see-thru lace number.

versace mens spring 2014 graphic print pants

There were only five different looks of shorts in these collection that were quite pleasing. She presented three suits with tailored shorts, and one faded blue short with a bright blue sleeveless shirt. But what took the best prize here was a hot light green suede short paired with the same colored jacket. It was either the perfect color and details of these short or the model who wore it covered with fluorescent tape  around his legs that made them so desirable.

Freedom wore her number of graphic art pants, shirts, and jackets that are sure to be a big hit next summer. It seems Donatella Versace knew we would be fond of her fluorescent oversized tape, which could turn into a DIY project, that her cashmere sweaters - attached with a black leather star and a gold medusa - were gratifying insets. A series of leather bags decorated with leather stars and black medusa studs spoke for themselves who you're wearing.

versace mens spring 2014 leather biker jackets

A collection without leather in Versace, regardless what season were in, wouldn't be a Versace show. Her motor jackets were crafted with great triumph. It is probably the details of its medusa zippers that elevated the spice. There still remained "classical" gold studded biker jackets that sent a message of getting comfortable and purchasing one before they're gone.

Leather trousers had a light clean cut that felt comfortable and breathable to wear. One python suit matched with python trousers finished in ribbed cuffs may have not looked light, but it proved Versace knows how to handle leather with ease. As far as casualness goes, a colored medusa print shirt with black detailed pants, and open toed sandals, had nothing too casual.

The Resort 2014 Bestseller Collections - Sexy, Chic, Casual, Rebellious

The South is probably the most conservative of all states to savor a good dose of fashion. As you may already know, most designers have presented their newest Resort 2014 collections that will be available in most stores some time not during the next two months. Around December or next year perhaps?

I have come to the point of analyzing several collections most women here could come to an agreement with me that the following collections are perhaps a win for their closet. Having a great knowledge for fashion here is not necessarily needed as it would for a designer (runway) collection. The main goal of a resort collection is to really, short and simple, see what pieces sell the fastest, and what pieces stay on the floor the longest. It can become quite a stressful time, since most retailers want to see profit and clothes selling and selling. Most designers have to let go of their artistic (couture) abilities and turn on their marketing skills for resort. All customers want here is easy, luxurious, no drama pieces to wear any season or occasion. Yes, it can be quite challenging for some, but as long as most of their resort collection sell out, all is fine.

Below are just a few of the resort collection, who in my opinion, think have a potential of connecting with many customers, or simply sell out pretty good.

Prabal Gurung Resort 2014 Prints

Vibe: Sophisticated Geometric Prints.

Prabal Gurung has got a big win in this collection. This is what most women seek in a resort collection. Something that has the designers elements (prints for Prabal) in an outfit and feels appropriate to wear for any occasion. His talent for designing incredible works of art keeps growing as the seasons pass, making him a more recognizable international designer for many. Prabal Gurung is a must have for Resort 2014. A great piece to add to your next summer wardrobe is the printed leather trench coat for those chilly and rainy days. Simply hot.

Burberry Prorsum Resort 2014. Playful Chics.

Vibe: The College Chic.

Burberry has always been one of the go to brands for the sophisticated woman. Want to know how an English lady dresses? Burberry is the answer. For Resort 2014, Christopher Bailey sort of kept the route he had gone in his recent fall collection. Playful, fetish-y, and urban-ish. Something most young girls would familiarize with. A style you could emulate from this collection is a long sleeve polo shirt with a luxuriously embroidered, black leather skirt. Now if any may not be extremely sophisticated, it totally is luxurious. It is only a matter of getting close and intimate. The college wardrobe just got better.

Versace Resort 2014. Sexy Sailors

Vibe: SEX-Y Sailor.

Stripes never looked bright and sexy as Versace's does. Donatella Versace can never disappoint her clients. Pink, orange, lime, and aqua stripes made the original navy and white sailor stripes look so boring. Her interpretations of white sailor pants - in Medusa-head sailor buttons - definitely had that sex appeal Versace is best at doing. Her colorful micro-pleated tulle dresses were as sexy as her stripes. Take this dresses to a cocktail or party and your bet to have all eyes turned at you. This is an ideal resort collection who seeks a short, outspoken, and sexy attitude.

Altuzarra Resort 2014. Relaxed Lace and Denim.

Vibe: Romantic Lace and Relaxed.

Lace has always been a feminine design for many woman. Some may even feel disgusted by all the covered fabric. Joseph Altuzarra was probably one of the most surprising designers for many in his resort collection. He found the perfect way to mix lace into his suits in a very relaxed manner; made for the woman who wants comfortable luxury. What was more surprising here were Altuzarra's introduction of denim. His pants were cut perfectly and his suit combo made a stunning number with his cropped lace top. If you had not seen his fall 2013 collection - outstanding body hugging sex appeal looks - you would agree his resort collection went a different route than what were used to seeing him doing. Black pants in a very slouchier version also made a good intro for the Altuzarra woman. In general, most of you would agree to be very fond of this particular resort collection compared to his actual seasonal collections that come with a slightly more bit of drama which I prefer.

Alberta Ferretti Resort 2014. Rebellious Lady.

Vibe: Rebellious Safari Lady.

It may sound somewhat aggressive to say this, but Mrs. Ferretti seems to have a great amount of marketing skills compared to her actual runway collections. She definitely has some good runway pieces to fall in love with, but her pre-fall and resort collections seems to be favorited the most amongst women. Her Resort 2014 collection is a great example of how talented Alberta Ferretti is in keeping everything sophisticated with a rebellious twist. It appears more youthful to say the least, but with an edge to go from streetstyle to a meeting or evening celebration. The thought she took to in a specific white skirt and jacket ensemble with zebra linings made her resort presentation even more special. I feel either a young girl or mature woman could very well fall in love with the collection. It gives the young audience another option to take the route of the modern Renaissance Ferretti Lady.

Derek Lam Resort 2014. Easy Luxury.

Vibe: Easy Luxurious Ensembles.

It would be no surprise Derek Lam has made a huge leap in women's fashion with his ideas of dressing women comfortably easy while still keeping the rich status. His Resort 2014 collection are easy on the eye, come with a great amount of texture effect, and have a terrific casual vibe that would be appealing to most women of certain age. There are various ladies in the South who already have that comfortable trend going, but a little Derek Lam upgrade will not only keep you feeling comfortable and trendy, but also look like a million dollar lady. Yes, it works for any occasion you have in mind as well.

DVF Resort 2014. Never out of Style.

Vibe: Trendiest Outgoing Lady.

Why else is Diane Von Furstenberg (DVF) the president of the CFDA? Her most recent fall 2013 runway collection - Disco party - was one to have died for. Now, her Resort 2014 collection brought of mixture that will be of great taste to women of all ages. Her python print dresses have to be one of the best resort has brought. And let's talk about her play with stripes. Simply fabulous. First time I've ver used this word. There is nothing to dislike about the DVF woman. What she wears speaks for herself. She has a wonderful life to live, so enjoy it to the max. The best thing about Mrs. DVF is how generous she is with women of all ages and sizes. Any women who wears a size 8 or 10, and doesn't feel comfortable about her choice of designer clothes, then DVF is the solution to your answer. You're not only going to look striking beautiful, but you'll be the most stylish of the day. What more do you want? More DVF perhaps.

Fashion Review | Versace's Fall 2013 Vunk Theme

Versace Fall 2013 Vunk Theme

Vunk! This will become the new word of the fashion dictionary punk style mixed with the sex symbol of Versace.

Versace literally nailed it this season. The manner of turning punk into something vunk was beyond perfection.  All items mink skirts, tight fitted vinyl pants, and nail dresses were convincing enough for any women who loves to take risks. There were elements of Giannis past work except they were modernized for todays glamour chicks. It seemed Donatella wanted to be original.and she was.

Lately, there have been negative buzzes of people commenting how awful this collection was. Really? It seems they dont quite understand where the authentic DNA of this brand falls. I wonder what was awful for them, because for me this was extravagant, energetic, and revealing typical of Versace. What was the surprise? Too much Vunk in your face?

If they ever asked me to describe this collection in one word it would be vinyl.  It may sound dirty for some, but boy did Donatella know how to make this fetish fabric sexy and wearable. She added some plaid to some of the dresses and skirts, but I never remembered them extremely vividly as I did with her vinyl. Suits had no button, for nails closed the deal (dont mess with me). I could go all day watching the models wearing those designs in various colors white, black, purple, and yellow which screamed party.

Versace Fall 2013 Vunk Theme

A yellow mink coat was one of my favorite outerwear pieces. I was intrigued by its unique tipard (tiger and leopard) print. Fun and deceiving.  Another that made the list was a yellow mink skirt I will be rooting for someone to wear soon. Will it be you?

Accessories were another big hit here. Spiked chokers and necklaces seemed painful, but wanting.  Nail earrings seemed daring and could become the next must have accessory of the season.

Versace Fall 2013 Vunk Theme

For evening, slits, spikes, and vinyl portrayed the sexual vunk.  Cara Delevinge ported an intense red number with spiky pride. A purple evening dress wrap around with nails was striking. Karmen Pedaru in a white vinyl slit dress was too high we could even notice her underwear. The last two models finished Donatellas glorious triumph. She took her bow like the queen she is.in vinyl pants.

Spring/Summer 2013 Trends - 6. Gladiator Heels

Versace Spring 2013
Versace Spring/Summer 2013 shoes

Have you though about what shoes to accessorize your outfit this spring? Well think no further, because the answer is quite simple. Gladiator heels were seen at very prestigious runways for Spring/Summer 2013. Altuzarra, a brand that has gotten popular over the course of the season, pleased us with their interpretation of its shoes, adding femininity and gracefulness. Versace delivered by far one of the best gladiator heels in their collection. As we know, Versace is known for being that provocative and liberal feline, which the shoes declared it all. The fringe detail and medusa stamp marked and outgoing accessory for those who adore to party. Salvatore Ferragamo decided to restrain on too much detail and focus on emphasizing structure, which crocodile had a good amount to say. Tom Ford was probably by far, the most talked designer of the moment. For those that dont understand, his unique design of gladiator heels had a lot to talk on media. The shoes just declare authority and confidence, and by the way, they are available in black, silver, or stunning gold.

Versace's Fall Fetish Accessories

Versace always finds a way to turn something so dark and unwanted into a sex symbol that would appear awkward when referred to the term "Gothic." Donatella makes sure somehow we turn something most of use wouldn't desire to be thought of, into that Gothic girl we would be willing to play the character.

Sexy Gladiators - Versace Spring/Summer 2013

Versace Spring/Summe 2013
Versace's Spring/Summer 2013 first outfit.

Versace has always been described as one of the most provocative fashion houses. This season there were no exceptions, for lace and gladiator princesses became the new lust to look after. The introduction of the first model wearing a black dress with lace running over her body and legs left very little to the imagination. Only a Versace girl is allowed to wear something like this, and with gladiator heels. The color palette centered more on the colors of the dessert (orange, cream, and warm blue), which brought a pleasant atmosphere to the show. The music and walk of the models all correlated exactly together to an I dont give a * what you think. Donatella took a risk in introducing the crinkled silk effect dresses, describing the previous phrase. The slit dresses were all extraordinarily provocative, as for any women wearing it would need to take precautions of a wardrobe malfunction.

Versace Spring/Summe 2013
Versace Spring/Summer 2013 tie-dyed dress
Out of the whole collection, the laced pants Donatella presented should become one of the most items sold next season. Not that the whole collection was great, but for some women, the collection may be a little too sexy (not that we wouldnt mind). Who knows, maybe she may decide to turn into a goddess when wearing the finale dresses that are only fit for a crown.
